As Jones celebrates the release of his latest film, “Father of the Bride” onto streaming services worldwide through South by Southwest x Mailchimp Campaign and Amazon Prime Direct, Jones takes a look back at one of his first films Burn Bridge.  This coming of age tale, shot in 2016 in his hometown of Harrogate in Yorkshire, North England, follows 17yo Harry (played by Charlie Holland) as he navigates the delicate dilemma of hiding his true feelings for his male best friend as a new girl comes to town.

“It's four years this April since I sat down to write Burn Bride -  less than 3 months later we were shooting permit-less on a shoestring, in and around the houses and playgrounds of my childhood. Watching the film back and looking through these photographs brings back great memories of a cast” and crew of first-timers that became friends over those five days in July. Burn Bridge wasn't the first short I'd shot, but it was the first film I was willing to show, where there was more good in it than bad, and that was a turning point for me.”
